New GiffGaff Member – Review

Has your phone contract expired and your looking for a good SIM only option? Or maybe you just want to save some money compared to your current plan? If you said yes to either then maybe the lesser known mobile provider GiffGaff is an option for you.

GiffGaff works in a slightly different way to most mobile providers, instead of paying a set monthly fee and getting a set number of minutes and texts you buy credit (Like Pay as you go) which you then spend on what GiffGaff calls ‘GoodyBags’. These goodybags are basically a package of minutes and texts, all goodybags come with unlimited internet. This allows your mobile to be a little more flexible with your use depending on your prediceted usage each month. Of course you dont have to use the goodbags, you could just treat your credit like a Pay As You Go service….. but that would just be old fashioned:-) Read more…

As all owners of the beautiful iPhone 4 will know apple has been shipping free cases to rectify the just as well known aerial issue. I have taken advantage of this scheme, mainly because it costs nothing and I want a case to protect my toy anyway.

Apple are giving customers a small selection of cases to choose from. These are chosen and ordered using the IPhone case app available from the app store. There really is an app for everything.

iPhone 4 UK, will you even try?

As I am sure that you are fully aware the iPhone is due to be released very soon and we are still not completely aware of what we should expect. Apple has been very clever in the UK and allowed 6 networks to stock the iPhone (Orange, Vodafone, T-mobile, o2, Tesco and 3). But unknown to everyone Apple began to sell the iPhone directly on their website, not on a contract but SIM free. This allows owners to choose their network rather than than buying into an expensive contract. I believe that I am not the only one who is a little fed up of networks slowly announcing information about the iPhone 4. While some people will simply pop into their existing networks store and grab a new shiny iPhone some of us will stuggle to get hold of one due to stock shortages after Apple selling 600,000 on the day they began to take pre-orders, and that is just the people that managed to use their broken website.

As it stands all the networks are giving different information and it seems that Apple are very much in control again.
