My Christmas
Although I’m sure all the talk of xmas is dying away I decided that I’d rather tell my story late than never. This year, like most years so far, consisted of being at home with my parents, its an exciting life.
Thinking a sleep-in was the key to a good christmas all got off to a bad start, christmas started at 7am this year! And thats not the little beings in the home.
So after managing to make my way down the stairs I realized there were more presents than the night before, lots more. There was now sit on trucks, keyboards, microphones and many more strange objects. The older kid decided that christmas was n’t really for her and all she wanted was to was cuddle up on the sofa and watch cbeebies, YAY! After all as said on the royal family christmas special, christmas isn’t really a time for kids.
Once the mound of boxes had become mess on the floor and a bin liner was full with wrapping paper the opening was complete, now to wait for our visitors and our cristmas meal.
My christmas meal has got to be the best christmas meal out there, except for Jamie Oliver. The Turkey, spuds and even sprouts were gone and with enough extras for the dog to get into the festive spirit. After our ‘action packed’ morning/afternoon it was time to go 30seconds around the corner to a friends place which involved chatting and keeping kids entertained until one finally cracked and demanded to go home by getting all our shoes and rolling around on the floor screaming.
We realized as soon as we arrived home, no she wasn’t tired she wanted to show her musical talents on her keyboard.
I think that pretty much concludes my christmas, not very exciting but still a good day. I’m sure yours was much more interesting?
