Ebuyer £1 Sale
We heard about this everywhere, forums, facebook, Emails etc. so how did it go?
Putting it short a few people got a brilliant buy but most logged off very unhappy with their bank balance the same as it was before the sale began. There are others online that claim they got themselves a bargain but for the rest of us (99% of visitors) we did not manage to get hold of anything.
The site was unavilable for the majority of visitor throughout the entire sale. I found that the site would load a page roughly 1 in 10 times. Ebuyer’s own managing director issused a rather bland statement obviously aimed at the complaints that people online made:

We have received an overwhelming response for our £1 clearance sale today, with a phenomenally high number of visitors to our site. While many of you were lucky enough to purchase a £1 bargain, I understand there were lots of our customers who experienced delays, or who could not access the sale page and were ultimately disappointed.
Some of our £1 items were limited in stock while other items had several hundred units available, so it really was a case of first come first served for this particular promotion.
Customer feedback is our top priority here at Ebuyer and this is the reason why I promote my Twitter account and email address so customers can contact me directly and we can respond to feedback more efficiently. While there has been a degree of disappointment over this sale, we will be running plenty more promotions in the future and I can personally assure you that any customer comments will be taken into consideration.

I managed to grab one deal that Ebuyer actually put onto their Ebay store but could not get anything through the main website. Some of the items that were bought by lucky people were Blue-Ray Duplicators, LED Monitors, TV cabinets and speakers…. all for just £1!
